Biography

Stone Driver is a critically acclaimed rock band from Washington, DC that harnesses grunge, blues rock, progressive, and psychedelic influences to create powerful rock music that resonates with fans. The band was founded by guitarist and producer Chad Lesch , and voted “Best Original Band in 2018” by readers of the Washington City Paper. In addition to writing, recording, and performing original music, Stone Driver continues to be actively involved in supporting multiple charitable organizations in the DMV community (Per Scholas, Lever Fund, Rolling Thunder, Joe Strummer Foundation, etc). Stone Driver is currently in the studio and working with Grammy award winner John Seymour (prior clients include Santana, U2, Alice In Chains, Jimi Hendrix, and the Dave Matthews Band) to finish their fourth LP slated for a mid-2020 release. Former LA Guns frontman Scott Foster Harris is providing lead vocals for the album, and Jason Everman (Nirvana, Soundgarden) is providing rhythm guitar work on select tracks. They are joined by Chad Lesch on guitars, Larry Joseloff on bass, Nina Goodman on keyboards, and Derek Falzoi on drums.
