    Biography

    La Corriveau is a heavy metal band based in Québec City and founded by Marc Légaré (guitar) and Xavier Alvarez (drums) in the spring of 2008. Many musicians came and went, but the band is now officially completed by Tim G (bass), Marco Thiboutot (guitar) and Max Bois (vocals). Even though the name and esthetics of the band are based on a true tale from Québec’s folklore about a murderous woman hung and exposed in a cage after she was found guilty of the killing of two of her husbands, the band’s subject matters are wider ranging from love/hate relationships, mystical beliefs, war and life after death.
