    Biography

    Auckland indie rock quintet Trust Punks formed early in 2013 from the ashes of Cool Cult and Grass Cannons, influenced by Wire, Deerhunter, Women, etc. 
 They self-released a number of singles through their Bandcamp page, including Prone Hold which ended up on their debut EP, Discipline, released in November 2014 by Australian label Spunk Records. This EP and the preceding singles have since been compiled as Improved Discipline. 
 On their first full length, 2016's Double Bind, Trust Punks emphasised their more aggressive post-punk experiments. 
 Members now play in Chances Are, Dead Finks, and Horror in Clay.
