In 1996 he started living in Madrid and learned Solo- style Flamenco Guitar with Victro Monge “Serranito”. From 1997 to 2000 he lived in Jerez de la Frontera (Andalucía) and learned accompany to Cante and Baile with lots of local artist. In 2010 he gained the special 1st international prize (non-Spanish nationality) in the competition of Flamenco Guitar “Niño Ricardo” in Murcia, Spain. In 2013, Jin Oki released a collaboration album “Dialogo” which featured top Japanese artists such as Kazumi Watanabe, coba, MIYAVI, Kotaro Oshio, Toshimitsu Agatsuma, and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. With the world famous Jazz Guitarist, Kazumi Watanabe, Jin is also known for his activities as a guitar duo “Jin Oki con Kazumi Watanabe”. He has collaborated with numerous musicians such as Manuel Agujetas, Javier Conde, Koji Tamaki, Taro Hakase, to name a few, as well as Japanese traditional artists such as Hideki Togi, Noh and Kyogen artists, where he pursues a daring collaboration. Not only in Japan and Spain, but Jin Oki has done lots of concerts in many countries as Italy, France, China, Korea, Nepal, Laos, Bolivia, Cuba, Brazil and Argentina. Jin Oki’s guitar sounds Flamenco, but he has very unique musical back ground which make his music special. Jin Oki keeps playing his original Flamenco, paying respect to the root of Spanish Flamenco. http://jinoki.net/ (japanese)
