    Biography

    Originating from Fairmont, West Virginia in 2014 as a 7-piece Deathcore project Shotgun Surgeon then relocated to Morgantown, West Virginia shortly before releasing their debut EP “The Black Room” in March of 2017 showcasing a polished progressive Deathcore sound blended with and array of slam, death metal and grindcore with lyrics heavily inspired heavily by Japanese anime. 
 Going through various member changes since then Shotgun Surgeon remains active as a 6-Piece consisting of vocalist Kyle Raikes, guitarists Shannon Davy, Donny Poland, and Joseph Welsh, Geoffrey Minnear on bass, and Ben Kreider on drums.
