Biography
Don’t underestimate the power of the underdog. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, LoveRance once a local DJ and party promoter slowly made his transition to becoming a full time music artist and never looked back. LoveRance's charismatic flow with a Southern twist over heavy bass beats is a party waiting to happen! Focusing his attention on organizing parties for other artists in the Bay Area, LoveRance decided to put his own rapping skills to the test. In the summer of 2011, with the help of blogs and social media sites such as Twitter, LoveRance's first single, "Up!," entered the Top 100 of Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Featuring Skipper and the song's producer, IamSu!, "Up!" was a suitable introduction to LoveRance's laid-back style and caught the ear of fellow San Franciscan and Interscope executive VP of A&R Larry Jackson after being played on local radio station KMEL. Shortly after LoveRance signed to Interscope, and the legend 50 Cent came through with a remix verse for "Up!," which then entered the Billboard Hot 100 in early 2012. Followed by a R&B remix with J. Valentine, Pleasure P, and Chris Brown. Throughout the years he has been alongside various other artist such as Tyga & Problem on "Akup" and Omarion on "Gon Get It" , but after taking a break LoveRance looks forward to re-emerging in 2023!
