Biography

Based in London, UK, Lucy has been writing songs for as long as she can remember and leading worship for the last 10 years in the UK and beyond. Her heart in writing and leading is to be vulnerable and real - to share her journey of faith with honesty. She mainly writes within the Christian market including more personal reflective songs as well as congregation songs to be sung in church. Her style is eclectic, spanning gospel, jazz, soul, pop and singer-songwriter and she is inspired by artists who are willing to colour outside of the lines in order to fully be themselves. Having played music from a young age (she started the piano at age 4 and was brought up on a healthy diet of classical and orchestral music), Lucy discovered songwriting in her teens. Her musical inspiration is eclectic, from soul and RnB to jazz to classical to singer-songwriter and this diverse array of musical influences has resulted in a diverse sound within her own writing and music. She is passionate about musical excellence and creativity in worship and has, over the years, gathered a talented team of musicians, singers and producers around her to create songs and projects.
