Biography

Singer-Songwriter Dorian Whisper, who grew up in Rotterdam (Holland ≈ the Netherlands), has been composing most of his songs on the guitar, while the lyrics reflect memories from countries where he lived and worked (e.g. Caribbean, Egypt, Philippines). Dorian's pop and rock compositions carry a blend of his various musical interests and influences; Santana, Sting, Van Morrison, Joe Jackson, etc. who can all be heard on the Playlists Rock Guitars and Groovy Organs and Piano and more - POP songs. Dorian Whisper's songs are influenced by genres such as blues, jazz and Latin styles, but always have a vivid pop-rock feel. Dorian Whisper's debut EP As Long as You Want was released in March 2020 and was followed by several successful singles such as I Miss You, Imperfect Moments and Brand New Day. Dorian Whisper sings and plays the guitars on all tracks, while arranger and musician Richard Deligero from Davao City (Philippines) enhances the songs with piano, keyboard, bass, percussion and drums. The recent release Fate Cut Another Ribbon describes a sudden death incident in honor of rock drummer Taylor Hawkins RIP (Foo Fighters).
