    Biography

    Steve Schallert is a husband, father of five, international speaker, activist, musician and avid follower of the Jesus Way. For over 20 years Steve has written and produced music at the intersection of faith, activism and justice movements with a commitment to contribute to the soundtrack of a growing revolution. Drawing inspiration from the neo-folk tradition, congregational hymn singing and movement songs of old, he weaves together stories and melodies of honesty reflection on doubt, hope and the ache for a world made right. He and his family currently call Cape Town, South Africa home where he serves as the co-Director of A Life Together, an ever growing global network of grassroots peace practitioners and trainers.
