Biography
Since Keeng Cut’s smash hit “Own It” was introduced to the world he has done nothing but live these words. Raised on the Northside of Tulsa, Keeng Cut has owned his gift for rapping since being introduced to hip-hop at an early age. With a unique style, flow, and stage performance he has been dubbed the ‘Flavor Keeng’. But not to be labeled as just another Tulsa artist Keeng Cut started to think big and formed the collective group World Culture Music whose vision focused on growing the brand to having a global reach. His first studio album " Believe " came out in 2014 that featured his notable ode to his hometown ' Screw Cool '. His second studio album “ Believe 2 “ released in the summer of 2016 proved that he had the ability to not only make hit singles but more importantly to make a cohesive album that was able to transcend genres. Also seen was the intro’ of his alter ego Flavio Cútatore . Keeng Cut’s alter ego Flavio Cútatore was featured on songs such as Nfmc. Marathon Lady, Cuttin' Up and now 2u which has become fan favorites. Cut associates himself with the likes of fellow Tulsa’s artists Steph Simon, Dialtone, Co2 Da Great , Jarry Manna, Hakeem Eli'juwon, Playya 1000. Keeng Cut looks to The-Dream , Ronald Isley , Sampha , Pimp C , Slick Rick & Juve The Great for musical inspiration. Whether rapping or singing Keeng Cut’s versatility has proved to be an asset, with his signature ad-lib “OOPS” it's clear that he is doing it his way. ~ Ryan “Ando” Anderson
