Biography
Toby is an English musician and actor who was born in Oxford and grew up in Spain with his three sisters. Touted as ‘One To Watch in ’23’ by Rolling Stone Magazine, Toby released his first track of 2023 ‘Too Good” and the first track from his upcoming album. Too Good draws on the sounds of the late 60s and early 70s, and artists such as Marc Bolan and David Bowie. The track comically journals the insecurities Toby experienced whilst on his first filmset aged 19 in Indonesia. It delivers driving guitars, a stomping beat and an anthemic chorus. Toby launched himself into the public eye in 2012, beginning his career as an actor which has seen him play roles such as Trystane Martell in Game Of Thrones and portraying Andrea Bocelli in the biopic The Music Of Silence. Earlier this year Toby released the video for his single ‘Midnight’, featuring guest vocals and appearance from his sister Florence Pugh. The track has achieved over 5 million streams on Spotify alone, the song is a homage to their childhoods spent singing and playing together. Toby has been making an impressive mark on the London live scene, selling out headline shows at Omeara and The Social in 2022. April 2023 saw Toby embark on his first headline tour across the UK. 2023 has also seen the release of the ITV show ‘All You Need Is Me’ and the film ‘Coffee Wars’, which both star Toby.
