Biography
Since releasing his debut EP in 2006, Windsor-native Pat Robitaille has been passionately writing, recording and producing music. To date, the songwriter has independently released five studio albums, two albums as the co-founding member of critically acclaimed rock & soul trio The Walkervilles and has had numerous tracks featured in a variety of TV commercials including prominent spots for Budweiser, LOTTO and Staples. He has toured extensively in Canada, Europe and the USA and has shared stages with such legendary acts as The Tragically Hip, The Beach Boys, Peter Frampton, Sam Roberts Band, Matthew Good and Tedsechi Trucks Band. Over the course of his career, Robitaille has been championed by the likes of Ben Grosse (Ben Folds, RHCP), Muzik Mafia and Gordon Williams (Amy Winehouse, Santana, Lauryn Hill), to name a few. A recent cover of Velvet Underground’s "Venus in Furs", recorded with Toronto dream pop duo Twin Rains is heard in NETFLIX’s smash series YOU. Currently Robitaille is collaborating on a video game soundtrack with acclaimed composer Jim Guthrie. He’s co-written with countless artists, including a cut on indie/folk darling Billy Raffoul’s latest release.
