Biography
Nebulae Come Sweet is a 4-piece metal band started in Minsk (Belarus) in 2012. The first recorded songs appeared on a split with a project “Difleger” (Belarus) released in June 2013. The title song “Ophelia” was subsequently used as an official soundtrack to the independent Belarusian movie «Граф в апельсинах» (The earl in oranges). In June 2016 the band released an acoustic version of the song “Ophelia”. On November 17, 2016 Nebulae Come Sweet released their debut studio album “It Is Not the Night That Covers You”. The album features two special guests who provided vocals on the songs: Christopher Bennett of “Minsk” (USA) and Kristoffer Bäckström of “Moloken” (Sweden). The two songs from the release appeared on music compilations from UK (Terrorizer #275 Fear Candy features “Le N”) and Ukraine (Electric Funeral Café vol.3 features “Santa Sangre”). On May 27, 2022, the band released a collaboration with the Belarusian band “Crucified Crow”. On April 20, 2023, Nebulae Come Sweet released the second studio album “De Lumière” via Solids Music record label. The lyrics are inspired by the poetry of Thomas Eliot, Ezra Pound, the works of William Shakespeare and the philosophical works of Nietzsche, Jean Baudrillard and Erich Fromm. Band Members: Igor Kovalyov – drums, vocals, synths Sergey Plishka – bass Dmitry Matveev – guitar, vocals Anastasiya Vashkevich – cello, strings
