    Biography

    Aske Bode and Andreas Brixen teamed up to form Bodebrixen in Aarhus, Denmark, in the summer of 2006. The duo evolved from a purely instrumental act (Bode and Brixen both have jazz music backgrounds, and met at a summer program for jazz students) into a sunny indie pop act along the lines of I'm from Barcelona, Lacrosse, and Hello Saferide over the course of the next year. The duo's self-titled debut full-length was released on Good Tape Records in 2008. Bodebrixen re-recorded many of the songs from their first album early in the following year; these tracks, along with some new songs, were released on the band's second full-length album, Whatsinsidewhatsoutside, in the fall of 2009. ~ TiVo Staff, Rovi
