Biography

Chaos Chaos is a Swedish-Mexican-American power sister-duo, with sisters Asy and Chloe Saavedra. The duo started out their musical journey as Smoosh in Seattle during at ages 8 and 10. 
 In 2004, Chloe and Asy debuted their first full-length album, She Like Electric, under the moniker of Smoosh. They released several songs under Smoosh until 2012. They renamed Smoosh to Chaos Chaos in 2012 to indicate a change. The duo would release their first EP in October 2012, S, as Chaos Chaos. 
 The new name ‘Chaos Chaos’ is taken from an amoeba which is the largest of its kind, Chaos carolinensis, as revealed in an interview with Interview Magazine; they also explained how they look forward on constantly changing their music as an amoeba changes its shape. 
 Chaos' October 2014 track “Do You Feel It?” got featured in Rick and Morty, drawing new listeners toward the band. Shortly after the sisters created 'Terryfold' with Justin Roiland, which reached number 33 on 'Hot Rock Songs'. The duo followed this up with the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled album, Chaos Chaos, in May 2018.
