Raised in Chicago, IL. La Rosa Noir is the epitome of Midwest Surf, raising waves of hellish, heavy heartfelt love with a knockout of Post-Punk. When Chicago natives come together to jam Johnny Cash songs on a 21st birthday, a band is born with no apologies and blooms in wildfire. La Rosa Noir offers soulful tunes and danceable songs to describe the moody essence we crave to understand . Frontwoman / Rhythm Guitarist, Yeshi Regalado carries you through rooted rhythms and voice of blunt emotions as she presents the drama of edgy living through self discovery. Leading the performances, she emotes a story through cinematic songwriting. Janesse Espino - lead guitarist, heightens the elements as his hand in songwriting and the other in soloing breathes past the necks in the crowds offering moments defying the laws of time. Dave Lobes - drummer, brings speed that embraces aggression and paints passion you can hear as the influences of punk and jazz storm in like beautiful thunder. Kevin Martinez punches heavy on bass guitar with precise measure to send listeners to groove as his bassline is unapologetically anchoring you. Dmitri Snyder ties the quintet profoundly as La Rosa Noir’s instrumentalist holding trumpet, tambourine, keys, and awesome energy. Influences can be traced to Sonic Youth, Siouxsie & The Banshees, and Johnny Cash.
