Biography

JB is a musician who started out busking at King George Square in Brisbane to make ends meet. He saved his money from a series of labouring jobs and small shows to set up a DIY recording studio in Cedar Creek, QLD. He's also a producer and has recorded over 100 songs for local artists since 2019, find the released ones at Songs from The Easy Machine. In 2020, JB released Young Man For A While to critical acclaim, winning 'Songpickr Album Of The Year' despite the pandemic limiting live performances. He managed to perform four sold-out shows in Queensland for his first tour. In 2022, JB released his third album, Springtime Is Coming which debuted at #7 on the AIR Charts and received high rotation on Double J and ABC Country. JB is now embarking on his first interstate tour of Australia to celebrate the album's release.
