Biography
Braulio Almeida started writing songs in the 1990's, still at his fresh 16 years old. Skills to pay the bills gave him some extra time to put together his personal ideas, first at Montecarlo Jive. Shelly Modesto (vocals) and bassist Rômulo Collopy were together since MJ beginning but somehow it got stuck. "One day I included a few guitars, more effects and we decided that that was Devilish Dear". Band's name comes from the song “Mercury” by Processory. Self-released in October 2015, “These Sunny Days” features 8 songs and a bônus. In January 2017, the album was re-released via the Brazilian label midsummer madness to critical acclaim. Overwhelmed, they started recording new songs remotely before the pandemic. In 2019 two new songs came out on the digital-only EP "Appalish" together with the music video in Devilish Dear's career. In 2021 the band was satisfied with a 10-track selection and "Army of Nothing" was ready to be released to similar critical reviews. Now we think Devilish Dear's music deserves posteriority in a physical release and we are asking our listeners if they would jump into a crowdfunding campaign to press vinyl: https://www.diggersfactory.com/vinyl/271698/devilish-dear-army-of-nothing
