tidal is an emo / punk / indie band based in Manila, Philippines. "sunday's best" out now! The first record, "life after", is a short record of long histories. Songs about the pasts that are being dragged into the future, a recollection of what was before in a life after. Old, current, and new sufferings, regrets, hopes, apologies, and many others in little packages as short sincere songs. "life after" is what is now and what's in front of us after what's then that we try to forget and correct and regret. Those that we reflect on, be grateful for, and understand are what matters. This is a short record of long histories, but longer futures of a life after certain pasts. As of 2022, the band has joined the Melt Records roster and released their first full length album, "sunday's best". "sunday's best" is an offering to our past selves, parents who try, families now long gone, friends, true or not, and those who give us hope. Where we are right now - us, you - is different from when we were last here, and our voice shouldn't sound the same anymore. We damn hope not. We hope to be better in all aspects, and we hope you are, too. We hope you find this record; feel it, it's yours.
