Biography

Tiberius is the coming-of-age emo psychedelia project of Vermont native turned Bostonian rat, Brendan Wright. As producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, Wright’s work under Tiberius encompasses an extensive journey of DIY music mastery, and lyrical intimacy, all while pushing the boundaries of album structure and narrative ever further from the collective comfort zone. After releasing their acclaimed sophomore record Lull (2021), Wright enlisted the support of band members Kelven Polite (bass), Christian Pace (guitar), and Ben Curell (drums) to perform their studio material in the rock show format. What followed was a more collaboratively written record about youth slipping into the monotonous aches of domestic life, the expectations and understanding of belonging to a community, and the discomfort that comes with being perceived in the eyes of the other.
