Biography

Superdestroyer is an anonymous Columbus, Ohio multi-instrumentalist and co-owner of Lonely Ghost Records. The project began in 2017 with Superdestroyer releasing a new demo EP every 3 months. These were intended to be casual releases that would be re-recorded with friends. However, after spending 2 years releasing demos on the internet, the project earned a small but committed following which led to his first proper release in 2019 titled Short Stories About Ghosts. The genre bending downtempo electronic-emo hybrid "acoustic" album convinced him to commit to the project as a solo endeavor. Since starting Lonely Ghost Records in 2018, he has worked on multiple albums that combine lofi, punk, pop, downtempo, emo, post-hardcore, hip hop, NEScore, and indie rock.
