Biography
As a singer, actress, and director, Hiba Tawaji continues to captivate audiences with her awe-inspiring voice and expansive vision. She has starred in blockbuster musicals in the Middle East created by the renowned Rahbani family, musical pioneers in the Arab World. Hiba also played the lead female role “Esmeralda” in the historical French musical “Notre-Dame de Paris”, on the biggest stages in the world, where her performance gained acclaim worldwide. A bona fide star in the MENA region, her catalog already boasts four Arabic studio albums, La Bidayi wala Nihayi [2011], Ya Habibi [2014], Hiba Tawaji 30 [2017], Baad Sneen [2023] and a Christmas album in Arabic and English Hallelujah [2017], all produced by acclaimed producer and composer Oussama Rahbani. Not to mention, she notably made history as “the very first female singer to ever perform on a stage in Saudi Arabia.” She also collaborated with various international artists: Pentatonix, Luis Fonsi, Ibrahim Maalouf, Mathieu Chedid… and duetted live with Andrea Bocelli. Her career has gained acclaim from critics globally. She has performed on the most prestigious stages and festivals in the Arab World. To top it all off, a big chapter begins now with her joining Universal Arabic Music.
