Biography

Hailing from Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa, Stacked have accumulated a considerable following in their local alternative music scene since they began performing in 2019. Stacked’s music balances fast, high energy sections, bouncy choruses and hefty breakdowns to exhibit a unique style of melodic hardcore inspired by artists such as Counterparts, Belmont and Strung Out. 
 The band’s recent EP, Crushed by the Sky, blends this sound with pensive lyrics examining the experience of realising the world is suffering, and the feelings of helplessness one is faced with in knowing that despite their efforts they alone cannot provide the means of salvation.
