Biography

“Wet Cactus” is a rock band with psychedelic hints created in Cantabria (Spain) during the summer of 2013. The band is formed by four guys – Daniel Pascual (Voice & Bass), Ernesto Díez (Guitar), Óscar Sánchez (Guitar) and Jaime Pérez (Drums). Their first album “Wet Cactus” was recorded, mixed and mastered in february 2015 by Álex Pis in Drive Division Estudios and it was released on September of that same year. Producciones Tudancas and Odio Sonoro were in charge of editing and Miguel Valcarcel of the cover design. In March 2018 went public “Dust, Hunger and Gloom”. Once again, Álex Pis was responsible for recording, mixing and mastering in June 2017. The process of editing was completed in cooperation with Producciones Tudancas, Odio Sonoro. In this occasion there were many participants – Spinda Records, Monasterio de Cultura, Fuzz T-shirts, Stone Hill Records Store, Doomwicth – and Dr. Octane made the cover design. While they were producing this album, they made a live recording of a cover of “Set The Controls for the Heart of the Sun” by Pink Floyd. It was released in January 2018.
