Biography

The Dead Texan was a one off audio-visual project containing a musical score composed by Adam Bryanbaum Wiltzie and a series of abstract videos made by Christina Vantzou. Wiltzie is better known as the founder of Stars Of The Lid & A Winged Victory for the Sullen - began composing and recording the music on his own and experimented with combining Vantzou’s videos; this eventually became a mutually collaborative project with the composition of the music and the creation of the videos becoming simultaneous. There has been only one Dead Texan release, a self-titled CD/DVD package released on Kranky.
