Who Is Jaqee Nakiri ? A Ugandan Born to a Muganda Father and a Munyankole mother. Jaqee Nakiri Nalubale migrated to Sweden in her early teens, then left Sweden years later for Berlin Germany, where she now lives. Musically the Nakiri Vocal range is broad. Gifted with vocal cords that can translate emotion and feeling regardless of genre, the artist focuses first and foremost on serving the Craft of music and the lyric so as to reach the listener. The 2 time Swedish Grammy nominated artist has to date released 5 solo albums plus a Live recorded collaboration Jazz Album, “A Tribute to Billie Holiday” with a 17 man strong big Band. The mother of 2 is highly involved in the songwriting, co-producing and co-directing the visual presentation of the music together with producers and visual artists, so as to present the vision in an as authentic way as possible In 2023, new music will be released after a hiatus of 7 years that have been mainly focusing on the very important motherhood role.
