Biography

Producer, DJ and songwriter, Pellegrino is the man behind Early Sounds Recordings, record label considered one of the pioneers of a new Neapolitan and especially Mediterranean sound. Blending different musical genres and funk, disco, Italo, Neapolitan and jazz atmospheres, Pellegrino's music is seductive, sophisticated and evocative of a starry sky over Vesuvius. With his project Zodyaco, which is also a live ensemble, Pellegrino began to shape his sound vision: inspired by the ancient mythology of the stars and their profound influence on marine life, the LP is the result of nightly jams in the wake of the Italian jazz-funk tradition, exotic fusion and Mediterranean mysticism. 2020 sees the release of the second chapter of Zodyaco, which marks the evolution in a more metropolitan flavor of Pellegrino's sound, with the single "Caucciù", which has two sides inspired by the magical Capri island, intimate and intense. The album “Morphé” plays with different styles paying homage to his native Naples and its unique music tradition delivering its peculiar “Neapolitan melodic disco from the slopes of Vesuvius”. In 2022 Pellegrino and his affiliates are back with a long awaited new single titled “Quimere” .
