Biography

LÖV is a Norwegian Indie band. With their background from the band Highasakite and a winner of "The Voice"-Norway, they are one of the rising super-bands in Scandinavia. LÖV represents a modern scandinavian sound, but with many references to singer/songwriters as Bon Iver, Carole King and Nick Cave. Martin Halla, Marte Eberson and Øystein Skar met in 2018 and started to write music together. Marte and Øystein had already played in the band Higahsakite together for many years, but now they wanted to work with Martin and his voice. They needed a producer and started to work with Odd Martin Skålnes. (Aurora, Sigrid and Sløtface’s producer) Their first single «Superhuman» was listed on the Norwegian Radio NRK, and also the intro music of the popular serie «Semester». In February 2020 LÖV’s debut album «Nostalgia» got great reviews and their single «Strangers Or Lovers» was immediately listed as the song of the week on the Norwegian Radio, NRK P3. They played it live on the popular talkshow «Senkveld». In 2 years they have released 15 songs and played a lot of concerts in Norway. Their next single "This Is A Song Made For You" will be released 28th. October 2020.
