Biography

MULHERES DE CHICO is the first thematic block of Rio de Janeiro. Playing only songs by Chico Buarque in original arrangements, the first female band in Brazil has a traditional drum set. In addition to samba, MULHERES DE CHICO also play other rhythms such as ijexá, baião, cocô, xote, funk, frevo and marchinhas. His parade is already part of the official Carnival of Rio de Janeiro.
