Biography

Carolina Plaza Hamame, better known as Carito Plaza, became known in the FunkReal group when she emigrated from Concepción to the capital at age 17. FunkReal was the band with which the Bachelor of Music Arts released the albums "Respect for Funk" (2004) and "Nobody makes it soft" (2007). Carito was also one of the founders of the dissolved band Ovolo, where she approached the AcidJazz. Carito has collaborated with diverse bands, among them Raiza, CFunk, Boomer, El Noni, SoloDiMedina, Keko Yoma, Dj Phantom, Dj Bitman, "Mawashi", Seo2, "Niten School" (MC and French producer) and the German band " Bernhard Hollinger Group "thanks to which he toured Germany in 2012. In 2009 Carito gives life to his first solo album "Sabor a Chocolate" produced by Micha Celis and Gustavo Figueroa of the Chilean soul band Raiza. In 2016 releases the singles Ojos de Menta and Wake up feat. Dj Acres and thanks to this last one Carito has been able to appear in different independent festivals around the world.
