Biography

My name is Dhruv Kapoor and I am an indie-folk singer-songwriter based out of New Delhi. I produce warm ballads and delicate acoustic melodies with minimal pop production in both English and Hindi. My music has gained recognition from local as well as international media publications like "Rolling Stone IN, Firstpost, Mansworld Magazine, The New Indian Express, Homegrown IN, Rock Street Journal, The Indian Music Diaries, Gogo Magazine, Radiocity IN and many more. I have also given interviews at Radios stations in India as well as the middle east. Most recently, I signed a 4 song EP deal with one of the biggest music labels of India, Saregama Music which was released on the 5th of August. Going forward, I am stepping into new musical territories, writing songs about my experiences in both Hindi and English. Although my predominant strength remains in writing love ballads, my latest body of work tries to encapsulate the feeling of longing, peace, and the existence of artists in todays world.
