Biography

From the Swedish forests of Karlskoga comes producer Johan Lundgren, aka Tungorna. He debuted with the EP ‘YSTER’ in 2017 on the independent audiovisual label To whom it may concern. , founded by artist ionnalee. YSTER showcased his incredible production skills with a progressive and dark electronic sound. In 2019 his debut album BABY was released fronted by the single GENESARETS SJÖ featuring ionnalee, whom he opened for during her 2019 North American tour. Though he has half a lifetime of producing and songwriting behind him, a solo debut was never a topic of discussion until he completely changed his lifestyle by leaving Sweden for a mobile life and living in different parts of the world such as London, Salt Lake city and San Diego. The change of environment and the limited musical equipment he could bring with him became a challenge and the sound became experimental, eclectic and forward thinking.
