In a world of deceit, Marty Valentine is the truth. Valentine narrates a coming of age story of a young man understanding passion, searching for attachment, and seeking life’s objective truths. Valentine disguises dejected sentiments as catchy hooks, obsessing over the authenticity of everyone around him. As uncertain as he is hopeful, Valentine bares all, showcasing prodigious victories as well as heartbreaking losses. Valentine’s come-up was anything but linear. Co-signed by blackbear after his Vine-editing anthem, “Diamond”, Valentine was enlisted to write on “cybersex”. Not long after, Valentine wrote Slayyyter’s breakout hit, "Mine”, found on the playlists of Lady Gaga and Grimes. Valentine became a 2x platinum writer on "Crush" by SEVENTEEN and gained the approval of TREASURE's BANG YE DAM for "ANIMAL CROSSING - sakehands REMIX feat. MILLENNIUM". With a background in classical piano, music theory, and production, Valentine also holds credits with Wale, Ski Mask The Slump God, Lil Yachty, and Wintertime. Born and raised in Maryland, Valentine’s flow is reminiscent of his area’s own style, with a melodic twist.
