Whoever has had the pleasure of seeing The Muttons perform, knows these hotshots can turn any venue into a rock ‘n roll furnace. Moshpits overflowing with beer, sweat and the occasional shoe of a lost crowdsurfer included. These mutns (Flemish word for idiots) are the modern embodiment of the iconic 90’s sound and shove it down your throat, harder than ever before. The band consists of a drummer who strips naked barely halfway through their set (Ward van Echelpoel), a guitarist who leaps across the stage as if he has a car battery shoved up his behind (Michiel Vandenabeele), a singer who might very well be Kurt Cobain and Eddie Vedder’s bastard (Merlijn Goddeeris), and a bassist who’s every girl’s wildest dream (Wout Houbart).
