Biography

Hilang Child is the moniker of Ed Riman, a British-Indonesian alt-pop artist, songwriter and drummer from South London. His two albums released so far were praised by BBC 6 Music, Clash Magazine, Mojo, The Sun and others for their mix of rich textural arrangements, anthemic pop hooks, soaring vocals and expressive songwriting, which moved between joyously optimistic and delicately introspective. A return to his drumming roots is at the heart of the new music he is currently working on, with recent Hilang Child shows seeing him performing his songs from behind the drum kit for the first time, supported by saxophonists, guitarists and electronic loops.
