Biography
New York, Paris, Bogota. These three imposing and enigmatic cities gave birth to TRES CORONAS group, made up of Colombian-American PNO and Colombian-French Rocca. These 2 characters knew what they were doing and the passion they both had for hip-hop is what got them to work together at the beginning of the year 2000. Rocca started his professional career in Paris where he formed the group “La Cliqua“. He later became a solo artist with Universal Music, releasing albums Entre Deux Mondes (DBL Gold), Elevation and Amour Supreme. These albums are considered classics in the French and European Rap scene. PNO, the other TRES CORONAS member, is from Brooklyn, New York. While living in Bogota as a teenager, he formed “C.T.O.”, a well-known classic hip hop group. PNO became a pioneer and leader of the Colombian Hip Hop scene and movement. As a solo artist in New York, PNO Released several singles, mixtapes and compilations, making noise and capturing attention from Brooklyn to Queens. PNO and Rocca released their mixtapes and projects through their independently owned label Parcero Productions. They distributed TRES CORONAS in the USA, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Mexico and parts of Europe like Spain and France. Having this exposure, they began to be known internationally in the Spanish hip hop scene. Hits like “Falsedades”, “Envidias”, “El Jibarito”, “Ahora o Nunca” and others became in short time international anthems for many Latin American cities and hoods.
