Biography

Angelo Moore is one of the world's great frontmen and musicians. As the longtime singer and saxophone player for legendary outfit Fishbone, Angelo has been traveling the world for decades bringing a sense of joyful optimism, top-shelf musicianship, and mindbending talent to many stages. In 2012, through a chance encounter at a screening of the Fishbone documentary Everyday Sunshine, Angelo met up with Bay Area producers and performers Jim Greer & Kris Jensen, who were active parts of numerous Bay Area scenes revolving around Rondo Brothers, Deltron 3030, Hieroglyphics , and other influential collectives. Through a mutual appreciation of Angelo's talent and Angelo's desire to expand, a musical collaboration was born. Over the course of two records Angelo's new project has signed with Philadelphia based label Ropeadope Records and brought in an amazing array of guests: Boots Riley of The Coup, Butterscotch, Casual, Syzygy the Beatboxer, Claude Coleman (Ween Drummer), Ben Ellman, Robert Mercurio, and Stanton Moore (Galactic), Tim Carter (Kasabian), and more. Tracks from the records have been featured in stellar TV shows such as Escape from Dannemora (Ben Stiller) and Doubt. Beginning in 2020 they collaborating with Austin, Texas label eMERGENCY heARTS releasing a series of remixes of their singles by producers Mark Pistel (Consolidated), AwareNess and Voodoo Slinky that continue to preach the gospel of the one and only Angelo Moore.
