'the transformative power of radical love' Lo Ersare AKA Lucky Lo is a Swedish musician and songwriter from Umeå and based in Copenhagen and Tokyo. Lo herself defines this solo project as a combination of her songwriting together with the sound of the band she has played with since 2019. Mads Nørgaard is her steady guitarrist and long time friend, his unique style of playing and blend of jazz and blues has a huge role in the sound of Lucky Lo. Casper Henning Hansen, known from 'Moi Caprice', is the steady drummer in the band and is particularly praised for this defined drum sound and minimalistic approach to his instrument. The live band got a new member in 2021, Malte Nordtorp Pedersen (Knægt) on keyboard, guitar and trumpet, and in may 2022 bass player Ida Urd joined the band, she is known from the danish band 'Tårn' and norwegian project 'HÔY LA'. Other musicians who are or has been connected to Lucky Lo is Asger Nordtorp Pedersen (Guldimund) who played bass in the band before going completely solo in 2022, he played a big role in the arrangement of the songs on the first record. Trumpet player Jonas Due from the critically acclaimed indie-jazz band 'OTOOTO' played with Lucky Lo at Roskilde Festival and in her newest livesession, and violinist Maria Martine Jagd (Crush String Collective, Lueenas) has been an occasional honorary member. The debut album 'Supercarry' came out March 25th 2022 on Tambourhinoceros (Molina, School of X, Palace Winter)
