Ruben Paz, also known as RPG, is an independent unsigned Hispanic songwriter and producer from California. Ruben Paz was born on April 10th,1997 in San jose, California. Ruben discovered his passion for Hip Hop music at the age of 8. He would spend countless hours watching music videos on MTV. “One of the first videos I remembered watching was Mike Johns-Back Then.” At the age of 10 he recorded his first song on a Guitar Hero microphone at a friends house, that same moment Ruben decided what he wanted to pursue in life. Ruben would spend countless hours writing music at home and in class. Ruben's biggest influences in music are: 2pac, Kid Cudi, and Kanye West. As a freshman in high school, Ruben started producing his own beats. “Nobody wanted to give me beats so I had to provide for myself.” Now that Ruben was a producer all he needed was a name. Ruben took his father's initials RPG (Ruben Paz Gerardo) as a tribute to his father. His father introduced him to music as a kid. Now Ruben is out of high school taking the game by storm with all his latest singles. He has revived major recognition from his single I.D.G.A.F.N.
