Biography

AVA NOVA is a The Hague (The Netherlands) based songwriter and performing artist. Since 2018 she has been collaborating with multiple established producers and artists such as Killingskills, Robin Veldman, Will Randall, Reaubeau and Dyro. Two years into her music career she had released various singles, one EP and one full Album. Her music ranges from the recognisable Hip Hop- inspired electro pop to up tempo and Drum and Bass. AVA NOVA is a self-proclaimed chameleon. She likes to experiment and get comfortable with as much music genres as possible. AVA NOVA recently joined forces with dear friend and fellow female artist, OONA. They are currently releasing the music they created together in OONA’s homestudio. Their songs have a characteristic sound of their two styles combined. The gloomy, immersive productions and songwriting of OONA, accompanied by the catchy melodies and romantic choirs of AVA NOVA makes their sound very distinctive. Apart from releasing their music online, the two are working on an intimate and minimal live-show that really allows the songs to be understood. 
Themes like self-image, love and other “Supposedly grownup”-things are sang by both and accompanied by a simple set-up. The next step in their journey is to play as much as possible during this upcoming festival season and to put out all the music that they made together.
