Biography

The Jazz In Paris Project was founded by French songwriter/vocalist, eVe Buigues.
Born in France, eVe was signed to EMI at the age of 18 and moved to the US shortly thereafter to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. After earning respect from her peers and making a splash on the local scene with her powerful vocals and prolific songwriting, eVe subsequently relocated to Los Angeles. There she recorded an original, Perfect Drug, with star producers Rodney & Freddy Jerkins. Although the song never dropped, eVe released three independent albums under her band's name, Jariya. In 2007, she moved to London, UK where she met Scottish virtuoso bass player and guitarist, Kevin Glasgow. eVe had been writing original French lyrics to well known jazz standards, and after jamming at eVe's studio, the pair decided to play together. Within months, eVe & Kevin secured residencies at popular jazz clubs while performing at prestigious UK venues such as the House of Parliament, T In The Park and the Stirling Castle, to name a few.
The Jazz In Paris album is a series of lofi live recordings, taped in eVe's house, in 2009.
