Biography
Thomas Kavanagh is based in Exeter Devon and regularly commutes to London/Nashville for recording and performing opportunities. Aged 13, he began learning guitar and started playing in bands through High School /College and often performed across the UK before launching a solo career in 2016. In 2016 Thomas Kavanagh made an impact with his debut single 'Best Of Me' which was chosen as Track Of The Week on BBC Introducing. He quickly followed up this success with the inaugural EP 'Pathfinder' a year later. The record was a hit and was picked up by food retailer The Co-op which saw 'I Can Be Your Superman' to their in-store playlist across 2,000 stores nationwide alongside Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, and more. In 2020, the EP 'Motion' was released and single cuts 'I'll Wait', and 'I'm Here Now' received national support from KERRANG! Radio and BBC Introducing. During the lockdown, Kavanagh took the enforced downtime to hone his production skills, and in 2021 he shared his first self-produced offering 'All For You' which grabbed the attention BCMA and made it on their Country Release Friday round-up. TK also caught the eye of film director Zandie Thornton with his tracks 'Give Me A Sign' and 'I Can Be Your Superman' to the soundtrack of TV sitcom All About Casey which was released exclusively via Amazon Prime Video in July 2021. He has also had commercial success and industry support from HMV, BBC Spotlight with a televised interview, Sky TV, and Absolute Radio Country.
