Biography
There’s a new kind of movement brewing out of Blytheville, Arkansas and emerging trapper turned rapper Cootie, is unquestionably leading that charge. Recently, he’s been making a name for himself online with the unexpectedly viral release of his song “Supa Fly,” featuring friend and fellow rapper, BiC Fizzle. Cootie’s distinct vocal styling and hard-hitting Memphis inspired flow on the song has already won the ears of industry heavyweights YoungBoy NBA, Cool N Dre and Gucci Mane amongst many others. For Cootie, his bars are nothing short of authentic and seemingly cemented in his real-life experiences in the streets. Effortlessly, he tells vivid stories reminiscent of the coveted “Trap Era” of the early 2000’s; with the calm demeanor of a seasoned Southern hip-hop veteran. His sound is versatile and draws a lot of inspiration from Baton Rouge-rap phenom, Youngboy NBA. Six months ago, it was family, friends and Arkansas-legend Temper Da Don who convinced Cootie to start rapping after being impressed with his hustle and noticing he personified everything a true hip-hop artist should. Now, with some heavy buzz online and co-sign from Never Broke Again, Cootie is quickly gearing up to take the rap game by storm. Off the heels of his last project “Welcome to the Trap”, Cootie continues to prove why he’s up next and on his way to becoming an unstoppable force in Arkansas’ buzzing rap scene.
