Biography
Described as ‘Rising, Rousing Indie Rock’ by The Clash, 2022 was a big year for Glasgow’s Cloud House. Praised for their ‘distinct music style and heartfelt lyrics’ by the New York Weekly, 2022 saw the band added to editorial apple playlists, sell out multiple venues in their home city, and embark on their first headline tour. Their two most recent singles, ‘Bring You Home’ and ‘We Are Not (Ordinary Lives) were both selected by BBC Scotland as ‘Single of the Week’ when they were released. Fans of Inhaler, Sam Fender, the 1975 and Green Day are likely to love Cloud House, who, after forming in a hot tub in 2019, won the International Rootstock Festival and released their debut EP ‘Days Changed’ on vinyl. 2023 will see Cloud House gearing up for higher profile gigs and the release of their second EP as they aim to leave their mark on the Scottish music scene and beyond.
