Biography

Born and raised in Montreal, Radiant Baby, aka Felix Mongeon, started producing music in the summer of 2013, a few months into his PhD in social science. He taught himself music production on Ableton and created a few instrumental tracks, which he later brought into a live setting. But after a handful of sets, he wanted to communicate his energy more directly with the audience. He started to sing on a few of his songs and Radiant Baby was officially born in 2015. It’s My Party, his first EP dropped in 2017, followed by his debut LP Restless, both via Lisbon Lux Records. 
 
On his second and latest LP Pantomime, Radiant Baby combines contemporary electronic sounds with 70s vintage influences, such as glam rock, punk, disco and new wave. His music juxtaposes a fiery and raw energy with a more vulnerable, melancholic and romantic atmosphere, reminiscent of such artists as Bowie, Blondie, Suicide, Pulp and Serge Gainsbourg.
