For over twenty years Samuel Lane has worked and refined his songwriting, exploring musicality and faith, pouring his life into crafting songs that draw people closer to God. His songwriting, paired with a heart to lead people into intimate worship, fuse perfectly to create beautiful, artistic, simple worship songs. Known for uncompromising honesty, his songs have an ache and authenticity that draws you into the story and catapults you towards the Creator. 
Lane has written and recorded over 40 songs with Vineyard Worship. Including 'Beautiful', the title track of the 2002 genre defining Vineyard album of the same name - the song was covered on Jesus Culture’s 2008 record 'Your Love Never Fails'. In 2013, Vineyard Worship featured Samuel on their first ever solo album, The Fire, "an album that makes you just stop what you are doing, and simply listen as you are drawn into a place of worship". Christianity mag said "incredible, There hasn't been an album that has captured my attention in such a way for a long time".
