Biography

Currently making a splash in the local Philippine music scene is Mt. Lewis, a five-man band from Angeles City, Pampanga, whose music draws inspiration from the likes of PREP, John Mayer, Phoenix, The 1975, and other notable acts. Their music, perfect for proms and late-night drives, has a lively and energetic feel to it. Comprised of Lewis Tiongco on lead guitar and vocals, Gael Santos on drums, Josef Alfonzo on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Brian Macapagal on bass and backing vocals, and Heinrich Bernabe on keyboards/synths and programming, the band has been captivating audiences since their formation in 2017. Mt. Lewis has earned a reputation as a crowd favorite, thanks to their catchy hooks, relevant lyrics, and impressive guitar solos that are sure to melt your heart. Their camaraderie as a group is also a defining feature of their music. They have released several tracks, including "Cold Misty Road", "Bitin", and "Marry Go Round", which have gained a loyal following not just in the Philippines but in other parts of the world as well. The band regularly performs in Manila and Pampanga and has played at various festivals and events, such as the Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan Festival, University Days at Holy Angel University, Fête de la Musique Pampanga Main Stage, and the Oddisee Music Festival in Clark City. Their debut song "Cold Misty Road" and sophomore single "Bitin" have received support from their friends and fans and are available on Spotify.
