Biography

Formed by members of seminal 90s Philippine heavy metal act Skychurch and Loss of Control, INTOLERANT was formed and took the Philippine local heavy metal scene by storm in 2008, playing furiously around the entire archipelago with its brand of modern thrash metal. By 2009, the band had released its full-length debut Reasons For Unrest (under the Sonic Shape independent music label…), and extended its reach even further (playing key dates in Hong Kong and Singapore…) and playing opening slots for international heavy music legends like ArchEnemy, Hatebreed and Darkest Hour, to name a few. Intolerant briefly reformed in 2015, before completely closing the book the year after. Intolerant was comprised of Russell Dela Cruz (guitars and vocals), Mic Gallegos (bass and vocals), Pepo Gohu (drums) and Joey Dizon (guitars).
