Biography

Back in April of 2021, the cousin duo Halfy and Winks decided to start writing and composing their first song idea, ‘Til the End, unknowing of the future music they would produce together. 
Having just turned 18, Kayla Winkel (Winks) has been a singer for an the majority of her life. While participating in choirs, musicals, and classes, she continues to pursue her career of creating music that is not only a joy to listen to, but tells of a terrific story through each song. It was not until recently that she had discovered her immense love of writing lyrics and melodies with deep meanings that always get the listeners mind thinking. But now that she has discovered this art of such emotion and creativity, she won’t be stopping any time soon. 
 Born in 2002, Sarah (Halfy) is the mastermind behind each composition. With her expertise in piano and ukulele, she has taught herself how to compose and write sheet music to stand beside the lyrics. Outstandingly, the entire instrumental piece is typically written by Halfy within an hour. Halfy is also a self taught animator and artist who has started her career pathway on YouTube. The art done for each cover of Halfy & Winks songs have been done by Halfy herself. Halfy miraculously balances both a load of the music instrumentals and creating beautiful art for the music her and Winks produce.
