Biography
“Just open your mind. Stay interested in stuff.” ― Betty White Hailing from the Sonoran Desert, indie synthpop five-piece Electric Sol embodies the freedom of the Great American Southwest. Independent, curious, open minded, and respectful, these quirky nerds love learning from each other’s wide-ranging life perspectives. Electric Sol started out as a solo studio project by lead singer/songwriter Ed Sweet, who was writing a book about a band trying to make it big playing Native American casinos. He dropped the story but started making the music in the studio, and soon formed the band for live shows. The current live lineup includes Ed on lead vocals, Lindsey Bair on backups, Robert Bates on keys, Eddie Rossi on Guitar, and Tanner Smith on drums.
